BIOGRAPHY:
Natalie L. AKA Goddess Talia (b.1995) is an interdisciplinary artist, Curator and Founder of Toula Gallery. Originally from Pittsburgh, Lambert received a BFA in Fine Arts from NYSSC at Alfred University in 2018. Natalie received an MFA in Fine Arts from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023.
Natalie has been exhibited in several shows internationally, espace_furtur; Paris, France, Revisiting the Symbol; Memphis, Solo Exhibition; Marvelous Gallery Istanbul, Local Alumni Invitation, Cohen Gallery; New York, Rochester Erotic Festival; Rochester NY and, Group 3; Shrine Gallery, NY. Recently she has been featured in a number of interviews and included in a limited edition collectors artist book with Al-Tiba9 on the back cover and her interview on page 48.
Artist Statement:
Natalie Lambert’s work explores multifaceted identity through provocative, explicit erotic performances that engage and challenge viewers. Using video and neon installations, she deconstructs self-portraiture while examining the power dynamics between subject and viewer.
Her alter ego, Goddess Talia, combines Catholic iconography with kink-laden symbols to blur boundaries between personal and professional spheres. As a spectral figure embodying control and worship, Goddess Talia commands devotion and engages an online following that demystifies kink culture by presenting it in public art forums.
Drawing from her experiences in the BDSM/Kink community, Natalie investigates themes of power, vulnerability, and transformation. Her work confronts taboo subjects and provokes reflection on objectification, sexuality, and societal stereotypes around pleasure and self-expression, inviting audiences to rethink autonomy and identity.
